Christian Simmons is a writer for Drugwatch.com who has worked professionally as a journalist since 2016. His work has been featured in the Dallas Morning News, Baltimore Sun, Orlando Sentinel and South Florida Sun Sentinel, among other publications.
He has authored numerous major projects, including a deep dive into Medicare Advantage’s impact on American health care and an expert-focused feature on depression in seniors.
Throughout Christian’s journalistic career, he has focused on work that can make a difference. He has written on important topics such as financial abuse and helped volunteer with Seniors First, a nonprofit organization in Orlando.
He has spent time with United Way Worldwide as well as Orlando CBS affiliate WKMG and NPR affiliate WMFE-FM.
