Mary J. Charlot, RN, MSN, FNP-C

Mary J. Charlot, RN, MSN, FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner and founder of NP’s Hired Health & Weight Loss. Charlot and her team focus on treating the whole body — mind, body and spirit — to help patients transform their health and achieve lasting weight loss.

She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Monroe, Louisiana. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing Degree (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.

Charlot is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Certification Program. She is also certified in obesity management in Primary Care by the AANP. She has many years of nursing experience, including inpatient care, cardiac, stroke, urgent care, primary care, retail health, community health and weight management. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a native of Church Point, Louisiana.

She has a true zest for traveling, healthy living, inspiring young girls and women and serving humanity. Her podcast, Matters of the Heart and Soul, focuses on topics that connect people’s hearts with their minds.
